If you already have a Mor/Ryde Pin Box system and want to use a Gooseneck Adapter, you need the Skid Plate for Gooseneck Adapters.
This 'skid plate' replaces the existing skid plate and the Gooseneck Adapter is bolted to it. It is preferable that the adapter is also welded to the skid plate, and for that reason, the skid plate comes unfinished. Save your old skid plate for when you sell your trailer and want to keep the gooseneck adapter.
